Welcome to the new website of Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY

Oakwood Cemetery of Niagara Falls, NY has a storied past, yet a lot of Falls residents drive by it daily without giving it a second glance.  Just like a B-movie where the librarian takes off her glasses and lets her hair down and suddenly the leading man takes notices how beautiful she is, Oakwood is going through a similar transformation.  She is gorgeous, she has always been here, and now people are giving her a second look and realizing just what a treasure we have.

Some of Niagara Falls most prestigious inhabitants reside within the gates of this hidden jewel.  Annie Edson Taylor's life was turbulent.  being that she was the first person to travel over the Falls in a barrel and survive, but now she is at rest in Oakwood.  She is just one of many people residing here who belong to a group of "firsts".  Feel free to browse our pages and become acquainted with Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara's secret.

Recently I explored the beautiful region of the world during my niagara falls trips with my family. We also enjoy the magnificent sights of the nature of surrounded areas like Oakwood Cemetery. I love Niagara Falls due to its high falls speed and it looks amazing at night. I am interested to go there again and again.
