Niagara's connection to the Titanic

NIAGARA FALLS, NY (Oakwood Cemetery) - As is usually the case in any big story, there seems to be a Western New York connection.  In the Titanic tragedy at least five (probably more) connections were made.  Mr. Stanley Fox, Miss Lillian Bentham and Peter Mackain all of Rochester, and Edward Kent, prominent Buffalo architect were aboard the ill-fated ship.  But our story concerns Mrs. Emily S. Douton of Niagara Falls who was awaiting word on the condition of her husband, William Douton.  Michelle Kratts picks up the story.
