Oakwood Cemetery Announces 2016 Board of Directors

Established in 1852, Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY, is one of the oldest cemeteries in WNY.  Named to the National Register of Historic Places, it is a member of the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, the Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Commission, and Preservation Buffalo Niagara.

On March 9, 2016, the Oakwood Cemetery Association held its Annual Membership Meeting and Board of Directors Election.  It is proud to announce its 2016 Board of Directors:

TBT Article: for a belated International Women's Day

NIAGARA FALLS, NY (Oakwood Cemetery) - November marks two anniversaries in the life of a remarkable woman from Niagara Falls' past.  Elizabeth Howe was both born and died in November.  In her short stay in Niagara Falls, she touched the lives of thousands. Our "writer emeritus" has once again come through with her style and panache to bring Miss Howe back to life, as well as a relative dear to her heart.  Click here to read this installment of "Kratts' Korner".
