Young Archaeologists

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (Oakwood Cemetery) - They came, they saw, they conquered!  Two of members of "The Coffin Club" have taken their interest in old stuff in a new direction.  Jason and Brendan unearthed a long forgotten stone in our cemetery.

Storm Damage from April 28, 2011 Wind Storm

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (Oakwood Cemetery) - The National Weather Service says strong gusts of wind some clocking in at 83 mph were reported at the Niagara Falls Airport.  Thankfully, the cemetery was spared any major damage, but we did lose a few tree limbs and and an old pine tree.

Fellow Oakwood Cemetery Damaged in NC Tornados

Raliegh, N.C. (Oakwood Cemetery) - The weather system that reeked havoc on much of the South this past week has caused damage to a fellow Oakwood Cemetery.  WNCN-TV in Raliegh reports that a tornado touched down in Historic Oakwood Cemetery.
